2019 Chamber Singers European Tour

Join the University of South Dakota Chamber Singers as they travel to England and France for a performance tour March 1-9, 2019, directed by Dr. David Holdhusen. The tour will start in London and end in Paris, with sightseeing and performances scheduled throughout the week. Sightseeing excursions include Buckingham Palace, Cambridge, Stonehenge, Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre Museum.

The estimated tour cost is $3600 per person from Omaha, based on double occupancy. Inclusions consist of air transportation, land transportation, hotel accommodations, breakfast and dinner daily, European tour managers, concert performances, sightseeing and admission fees, and tipping and taxes for all services.   • Buckingham Palace with Changing of the Guard 
  • Tower of London
  • St. Paul's Cathedral 
  • Evening concert performance in or near London

Monday, March 4 

  • Warner Bros. Studio Tour
  • Midday concert at Ely Cathedral
  • Sightseeing tour of Cambridge
  • Attend Choral Evensong at King's College in Cambridge
  • Return to London

Tuesday, March 5

  • Excursion to Stonehenge
  • Midday concert at historic church or abbey
  • Return to London
  • Option to attend West End theater 

Wednesday, March 6 

  • Eurostar Chunnel from London to Paris
  • Orientation tour of Paris including the Eiffel Tower
  • Late afternoon concert at La Madeleine

Thursday, March 7 

  • Visit the Louvre Museum
  • Excursion to Chartres 
  • Late afternoon concert at Chartres Cathedral
  • Return to Paris

Friday, March 8 

  • Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
  • Late morning concert at Notre Dame Cathedral
  • Excursion to the Palace of Versailles
  • Free time in Paris with farewell dinner at a restaurant 
  • Evening cruise on the Seine River

Saturday, March 9 

  • Transfer to the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, return to Omaha
