Patriots Plaza

Inspired by the University of South Dakota student veterans and joined by others in the USD family, the Patriots Plaza features a display of American, South Dakota, POW/MIA and USD flags honoring three USD alumni Medal of Honor recipients, other veterans and the centennial of Army ROTC at USD.

Funded by private gifts and located on the mall between the Beacom School of Business and the USD School of Law, the Patriots Plaza will remind future students and others of the sacrifices of military service and provide an appropriate site for observance of patriotic holidays and related events.

Donations of $1,000 and above to the Patriots Plaza have the opportunity to designate a donor or veteran recognition brick within the plaza.
