Excellence. Service. Leadership.

In 1901, Senator Thomas Sterling and Ambassador Bartlett Tripp founded the University of South Dakota School of Law. They recognized that South Dakota’s future necessitated forming lawyer leaders here. Since 1901, the community of excellence, service, and leadership that they envisioned has been brought to life by generations of our graduates.

Knudson School of Law 1901 Fund

Being a community matters. And in a healthy community, everyone has a role to play and way to participate. The 1901 Fund will serve as an umbrella endowment for contributions in support of scholarships at the USD Knudson School of Law. By aggregating our efforts as a community, each of us can make a permanent investment, in any amount large or small, in future generations of South Dakota lawyer leaders. We are stronger and more enduring together.
