An endowment is a lasting investment in the future of USD. Your gift is invested to provide permanent, reliable support, with a portion of the earnings used each year to fund scholarships, academic programs, faculty support and other priorities—creating an impact that lasts for generation
About Endownments
Current
A current gift is an immediate contribution that provides support where it's needed today. Whether you give cash, securities or other assets, your gift is put to work right away to advance the USD's mission and create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty and programs.
Where to Give
Gifts In Kind
A gift-in-kind is a non-cash donation of goods, equipment, property or other valuable assets that directly supports the USD's mission. These contributions help meet important needs across campus while creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty and programs.

Giving online is the easiest and most immediate way to make an impact. Through our secure giving form, you can make a one-time or recurring gift using a credit or debit card and choose the fund that means the most to you, whether that's student scholarships, alumni programs, athletics or another area on campus.
If you prefer to give by mail, simply make your check payable to the USD Foundation and include your name, contact information and the fund you'd like to support. Every mailed gift is handled securely and directed to the designation you specify. Mail your gift to the address listed below.

Multiple Time Gift
Pledges
A pledge allows you to spread your gift over time, making it easier to support the University of South Dakota in a way that fits your financial goals. Most pledges are fulfilled over two to five years.
Trusts & Annuities
