What is your favorite USD event?
Definitely Dakota Days. The whole town comes alive, everyone's back in Vermillion to cheer on the Yotes and you never know who you'll bump into. The energy is unmatched. Calling All Coyotes is up there too, but nothing tops D-Days in Verm!
How did you get involved with USDFAA?
I've always loved Coyote athletics, and Vermillion quickly became home for me. It's one of those places that's hard to put into words. The people and the community just make it so special. I moved a lot growing up, so staying here felt right. When the chance came to work in athletics, I jumped at it. Best decision ever! I love what I do, I love the Yotes and once a Yote, always a Yote.
What is your favorite USD memory?
Hands down the Sweet 16 in Wichita my senior year. The amount of Coyote fans that showed up was unreal, it honestly felt like D-Days. Even though we didn't win, the energy in the arena and afterwards downtown was something I'll never forget.
