USD Night at the Spooky Action Theater
USD alumnus and Spooky Action Theater Board Vice Chair Eric Selk ’91 invites you to a night at the Spooky Action Theater in Washington, DC! Join fellow Yotes for a pre-show reception at 6:30 p.m., featuring refreshments and light snacks, followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m.
In the new play Hakawatis: Women of the Arabian Nights, a tyrant avenges his wife’s infidelity by wedding, bedding and beheading a new bride every day. Years later, only five brides-in-waiting remain. Unapologetic and united, these women fight to keep themselves, and all of womankind, alive. This London Globe hit by Irish-Palestinian playwright Hannah Khalil will captivate audiences with tales that are funny, raunchy and dangerous, where every story is a matter of life and death.
