Honoring the Legacy of Stephanie Larscheid

Over the past several weeks, many in the Prairie Family Business Association community have reflected on the extraordinary impact Stephanie Larscheid had on the organization and the countless families she guided over the past decade. Her ability to bring families together, ask thoughtful questions and help them navigate the complexities of family and business strengthened this community in ways that will endure for generations.

To honor her legacy, the Prairie Family Business Association is working to establish the "Right Next Step" Scholarship. The name reflects one of Stephanie's most meaningful messages. When encouraging families to attend the PFBA Retreat or annual conference, she would often reassure them it was the "right next step" for their family. Stephanie had a unique ability to meet families where they were and help them see how investing time together could strengthen both their relationships and their businesses.

The goal is to establish an endowed scholarship to help families attend PFBA programs, ensuring more families can experience the conversations and growth Stephanie helped facilitate. Board members, former board members and PFBA families are invited to join in establishing this legacy in her honor. The initial goal is to raise $50,000, with plans to grow the fund over time so its impact continues for years to come.
