Hands-On Research Prepares Students for Future

Rebecca Cordie is a medical laboratory science student at USD School of Health Sciences and completing her internship at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa. Since enrolling at USD, she has been able to work closely with Dr. McFadden in the lab, their research focus being on methamphetamine self-administration in rats. Her research experience has prepared her to be successful in not only her coursework but also her future career.
