The University of South Dakota will once again partner with the Minnesota Twins for USD Night at Target Field, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025.

The annual event brings together alumni, students and supporters for an evening that extends beyond baseball, emphasizing community and connection. A portion of ticket sales will benefit student scholarships at USD.

"Events like USD Night give us a chance to connect with university leaders, alumni and students in a meaningful way," said Luis Breazeale, Twins manager of group sales and service. "It's exciting to welcome the USD community to Target Field and to support causes that matter— like funding student scholarships."

Last year's USD Night raised $3,860 for scholarships. The evening also featured a ceremonial first pitch by Jaxon and Jeren Scheff, brothers born with a rare genetic condition who received care at Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls. Their story and presence on the field highlighted the resilience and spirit of the USD community.

Looking ahead, the Twins hope to grow USD Night even further, continuing to foster a strong bond with the university and its supporters.

"We truly value our relationship with USD and look forward to building on the success of this partnership for years to come," Breazeale said.

Make sure to join us at Target Field to witness another first pitch to remember! Fans who purchase tickets through the special USD Night offer will receive an exclusive co-branded USD-Twins jersey. A portion of each ticket will go directly toward USD student scholarships. Tickets are available here.
