Tanner Hall is studying sustainability and minoring in business administration and conservation biology at USD. He has a close relationship with his professor, Meghann Jarchow, who he looks to as a mentor. He has been able to do research in the lab – his own and in collaboration with Professor Jarchow. He also had the opportunity to travel to Kenya for a field ecology class.

Sasha McDowell keeps herself busy at USD with her majors in English and French and minors in Spanish and music. She comes from a family of Coyotes – both her parents attended USD and many of her cousins did as well. McDowell likes the student to professor ratio at USD because it allows her to connect and build relationships with them.
