Coyote Track and Field & Cross Country welcomes all alumni for a weekend of celebration in Vermillion around the annual USD Hall of Fame ceremony. Amongst inductees are three track alums, Amber (Hegge) Cunningham, Tonya (Kneifl) Gordon, and Dave Gottsleben. Due to the auspicious nature of this event, we are planning a special weekend for Coach Gottsleben. Our hope is that you can join us the weekend of Sept. 16-17 for an action-packed weekend!
- Friday, Sept. 16
- Afternoon golf tournament in Elk Point
- 9 holes, 4-person best ball. Bring your own team or we will match you up.
- The entire course will be reserved for our event and we want to pack it!
- Tee times will start around 10 a.m. and run throughout the afternoon.
- Email track@usd.edu to schedule a tee time.
- Evening Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
- The social starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
- Dinner and the induction ceremony will follow.
- Post-event Social at Old Lumber Company rooftop
- We will invite all of the Hall of Fame Inductees to join us!
- Even if you don’t attend the HOF Ceremony feel free to meet us at the Old Lumber Company.
- Bring a light jacket as this is outside by the firepits.

- Special tailgate area for Track & Field/Cross Country Alumni
- Ticket to the home Football game
The cost for the weekend is $100 and includes golf and cart, Hall of Fame social and dinner, tailgate and ticket to the football game PLUS a special gift to commemorate Coach Gotts going into the Hall of Fame.
