Endowments are a time-honored way to allocate gifts to a permanent fund that supports University of South Dakota Athletics. These fund provide annual scholarships for student-athletes and may also support new facilities or renovations.

Each endowment is invested to generate income, and as the fund grows, so does the income it produces. Annual distributions are used to support student-athletes, while the principal remains invested to sustain the fund in perpetuity.
